Munich and Bavaria

In August 2002, we flew directly into Munich, the capital of Bavaria, where we spent the first night curing our jetlag and viewing the sites of Munich's MarienPlatz, in the Zentrum (downtown) of the city.  Then we went off the next morning through Chiemsee and the Bavarian Alps en route to Berchtesgaden and Salzburg.
